Former Presidential Candidate Peter Obi Calls on Nigerians to Pray for the Nation this Easter

Hey peeps, guess what? Easter is right around the corner and guess who’s asking us all to pray for our beloved nation? That’s right, Peter Obi himself! Yup, the same Peter Obi who was the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the last general election. The former Anambra State governor is feeling all kinds of spiritual, and he’s asking all you Christian folk out there to say a little prayer for Nigeria during this egg-citing holiday.

You know how Easter is all about new beginnings, right? Well, Mr. Obi is urging us to use this time for some much-needed introspection. Are we making Nigeria proud? What can we do to make our nation better?

But don’t worry, it’s not all serious vibes here. Obi took to Twitter on Friday, reminding us that Good Friday is, in fact, pretty great. “Today, we are reminded that the way of the cross is the way to victory,” he tweeted from his verified account.

In other words, guys, sometimes we need to go through a bit of struggle to get to the good stuff. And you know what? Peter Obi is right! Nigeria, it’s time to shine!

So as you’re searching for Easter eggs, painting your eggs, or just gobbling down chocolate bunnies this Easter weekend, remember to also give a little thought to Nigeria. Pray for our nation, and maybe, just maybe, the man upstairs will throw a little blessing our way.

Oh, and don’t forget to save a piece of that chocolate for us, alright? Happy Easter, everyone!
