Say it ain’t so! Our girl Taylor Swift and her beau Joe Alwyn have reportedly called it quits after six years together. According to a source, their breakup was “amicable” and “not dramatic,” just like most of the relationships in T-Swift’s iconic discography.

Apparently, their relationship had just run its course, which is why Joe hasn’t been spotted at any of Taylor’s recent shows. Although there had been conflicting reports just weeks ago about the status of their relationship, it seems as though the couple has chosen to part ways.

Taylor and Joe have been linked since 2016, not too long after her whirlwind romance with Loki actor Tom Hiddleston. Taylor has never been one to shy away from expressing her feelings for her British hunk through her music. Songs like “Delicate” and “Lover” were practically Joe Alwyn anthems, but sadly it looks like their love story has come to an end.

One of the reasons we all adore Taylor and Joe as a couple is that they’ve kept their relationship super private. They’ve never walked the red carpet together and have kept any PDA to a minimum. It’s rare to see such a high-profile couple prioritize privacy like they have.

Let’s not forget, Joe has been involved in Taylor’s music beyond just being her muse. He’s been a co-writer on some of her past three albums (Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights) under the pen name William Bowery. It’s been a true power couple situation for these two, and we’re definitely going to miss that magic.
