Keyshawn Davis Dominates Anthony Yigit, Claims TKO Victory in Ninth Round

Keyshawn Davis put on a spectacular performance in the ring as he went toe-to-toe with Anthony Yigit, ultimately claiming a technical knockout victory in the ninth round. This hard-hitting battle took place on the Shakur Stevenson-Shuichiro Yoshino undercard at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

As a 2021 Olympic silver medalist, Davis (8-0, 6 KOs) continued his ascent in the lightweight division. Yigit (26-3-1, 10 KOs), however, suffered his third loss inside the distance in a 10-year professional career. The beginning of the end came in the eighth round when Davis floored Yigit with a powerful right-hand body shot, leaving the Swede battered and bloodied.

Although Yigit made it to the ninth round, he couldn’t withstand Davis’s relentless onslaught, forcing referee Benjy Esteves to stop the bout just 21 seconds in. This impressive TKO victory adds another feather to the cap of the 24-year-old phenom from Norfolk, Virginia, as he continues to make waves in the world of boxing.
