There are those fights that you watch, holding your breath as you wonder which boxer is going to fall first, and this was one of them! Brandun Lee survived the toughest test of his ascending six-year career by sneaking past Pedro Campa with a unanimous decision victory. Despite Campa outlanding Lee and being the busier fighter, the judges scored the 143-pound catchweight clash in favor of Lee.

From the first round, Lee appeared to be looking to end it early as he unleashed powerful right hands and a left hook that stopped Campa in his tracks. But to Campa’s credit, he also connected with several crushing shots. The first three minutes set the tone for the rest of the 10-round bout.

In a thrilling turn of events, chants of “Brandun Lee” rained down for the native Southern California upstart in the fourth, with Lee raising both his arms in acknowledgment. Campa then rebounded remarkably in the fifth round with an assault that featured a total of 31 punches landed on Lee – including several lethal left hooks.

The back-and-forth action continued throughout the rounds, with both fighters showing fatigue and moments of brilliance. The ninth round was a spectacular one featuring the best back-and-forth action of the fight. Lee left his back foot and pressed on the gas to sustain a heavy attack as a defenseless Campa came forward. Campa eventually outlanded Lee, but all three judges gave Lee the round.

The final round featured Lee utilizing plenty of movement and landing the more effective shots, with all three judges awarding him again. Lee closed the fight strong, seemingly needing to in order to survive on the cards, but the fight was already in the bank by the last two rounds – at least on the judge’s cards.

This high-energy battle between two incredible athletes left us at the edge of our seats and reminded us of the thrilling nature of boxing. We can’t wait to see what’s next for both Brandun Lee and Pedro Campa!
