First Look: Ahsoka Series Trailer Released Featuring Rosario Dawson’s Return as Fan-Favorite Jedi on Disney+

Star Wars fans, hold onto your lightsabers! The first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Ahsoka series on Disney+ has just been released. Get ready for an exciting new chapter in the Star Wars universe featuring our beloved Togruta Jedi, Ahsoka Tano, portrayed by the incredibly talented Rosario Dawson.

In case you need a refresher, Ahsoka Tano is Anakin Skywalker’s former Jedi Padawan, who made her first appearance in the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The character has since become a fan favorite, showing up in various other Star Wars media, including a live-action debut in The Mandalorian’s second season.

Now, with her very own Disney+ series written by Dave Filoni, Ahsoka’s story continues as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy. And guess what? She won’t be facing this new challenge alone. The cast includes some familiar faces, like Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, as well as new additions such as Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger and Ray Stevenson as Baylan.

Don’t worry, the galaxy is also well-represented by its key players. Genevieve O’Reilly returns as Mon Mothma, and Diana Lee Inosanto is back as Morgan Elsbeth. If that’s not enough to get your heart racing, prepare for Hayden Christensen’s return as none other than Anakin Skywalker himself!

While the teaser doesn’t give away too much of the plot, it does show Ahsoka reuniting with Sabine as they navigate through this new era of uncertainty. Things seem tense as they hear whispers of the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn “as heir to the Empire.” With few Jedi left, our heroes must prepare for the worst.

Get ready, Star Wars fans, because Ahsoka is set to hit Disney+ in August 2023! May the Force be with us all as we anxiously await the latest installment in our favorite intergalactic saga.
