Brooks Koepka Bounces Back with Impressive Masters Performance

One year ago, Brooks Koepka was aching from a knee dislocation, struggling with rehab, and missing the cut at the Masters. Today, he’s healthy, happy, and absolutely smashing it at Augusta National Golf Club.

Koepka’s recent struggles made it easy for him to join LIV Golf – something he had previously dismissed as “selling out” – for the guaranteed money. However, now that he’s in prime form and dominating the majors once more, we’re seeing a more confident and charismatic side to Koepka, and we couldn’t be happier!

As if to make a point, Koepka has started these Masters with a fantastic 65-67. Not only has he avoided missing the cut for the third consecutive year, but at 12-under, he’s also in serious control of this event. Even the occasional weather delays can’t seem to slow him down!

It’s not just Koepka’s scoreboard that’s lighting up – he’s also proving to be an entertaining personality both on and off the course. Whether you love him or hate him, there’s no denying that his return has brought a jolt of excitement to the sport.

His comeback hasn’t just been good for golf – it’s been good for Koepka too. Now that he’s back in form, he can focus on doing what he loves: competing against the best players in the world. “You want Rory [McIlroy] to play his best and Scottie [Scheffler] to play his best and Jon [Rahm] to play his best and go toe-to-toe with them,” Koepka said. “That’s what I think makes these majors so cool.”

It seems that his decision to leave the PGA for LIV is still up in the air – he isn’t wearing his LIV team logo on his shirt, after all. But whatever happens in the future, it’s clear that Koepka’s return has breathed new life into the world of golf, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
